“I got locked in my apartment in Coogee at around 10 pm Saturday night. I called Link Locksmiths and got straight through to their emergency locksmith who happened to be on a job in Darling Harbour at the time but said he would be over once finished. About 40 minutes later he arrived and gave us some advice on how to service the problem from the inside. After we tried unsuccessfully he drilled a few holes, fiddled around with a pair of pliers and had the door open in around half an hour. Apparently the latch was faulty and wouldn’t retract even through the handles were turning.

I was somewhat worried to know that locks could just fail like that – I have heard of being locked out but never of being locked in. After getting the door open and taking the faulty lock off the locksmith advised us that a new lock had to be installed. Thankfully he had the exact same model in stock, same brand and all, so he was able to put on a new one then and there. Good to know that he didn’t need to come back again just to supply the lock. Link Locksmiths provided a professional and efficient service at a time that I thought no one would come out. Good service, especially at that time of night on a Saturday.”

“We were broken into in our apartment in Zetland, our sliding door was pried open with a crow bar and we were concerned that we didn’t have adequate security to prevent such an attack from happening again, on top of that we noticed our keys had been stolen!
